Strategies for Bridging Political Divides Online
Abstract
This essay seeks to outline strategies for bridging political divides online. To strengthen unity and collaboration rather than division and discord, a number of issues and practical applications are being examined. Disagreements in the political arena are often unavoidable, but the wording, tone, and protocol used is vital. In light of this, challenges encountered in trying to address this issue are discussed. Despite that, ways to develop a more civil political dialogue online are further addressed. The digital age is in full swing, and the essentiality of understanding the discourse inside of this realm has become even more crucial. Over the past couple of years, an eruption in the division and polarization causing issues on online platforms has been noticeable. Consequently, efforts to develop strategies to mitigate and tackle conflict in this domain are underway. Inclusivity within this dialogue is of particular consequence, advocating for a broad spectrum of individual background participation.
